When a player has four cards towards a big hand in poker, but does not have a good hand yet, hence they do not often fold drawing hands when faced with small sized bets and raises.
Betting with a draw can work well as a semi bluff, because it gives you the chance to take down the pot straight away without needing to hit on a later street.
EXAMPLE: “Four hearts would be a flush draw; 4, 5, 6, 8 would be an inside straight draw.”
