Suited Connectors

Suited connectors (or sc) are sequential cards of the same suit such as 87s, QJs, and AKs. Their their value mainly comes from hitting strong draws and hands like two pair, and depending on the type of suited connector, you can still be in good shape when just hitting a one pair hand. One gap suited connectors such as T8s, QTs, J9s, and A3s are two cards of the same suit with one gap between them. Suited one gappers are also very playable.

EXAMPLE “I like to play suited connectors against multiple opponents when I can expect to get paid off on my big hands.”
