Pot Odds

In poker, pot odds is the “ratio” the pot is giving you on your investment (how much you will have to call). The more money that is in the pot the higher your pot odds will be for a given hand. In general the poorer your hand the more money you need to be able to win to call with it.

EXAMPLE “A call of $25 to win $50 in the pot represents pot odds of 50:25 or 2:1.”
