Final Table

Reaching the final table of a poker tournament will be made up of the last 9-10 players, which is a big accomplishment for any MTT poker player whenever playing a large multi-table tournament. At the final table, play continues until one player ends up with all the tournament chips.

The “final table bubble” occurs when there is just one player left to be eliminated before the final table is set. It’s a bit different to the “money bubble” in a tournament because the player who bubbles the final table can still get paid.

The most prominent final table takes place during the Main Event of the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. After 7 consecutive days of play, the monster field is eventually reduced to just 9 players, who are the “November Niners”, because there is a 4-month break before play recommences in November to decide a winner.
