Draw Poker

Draw poker is poker game where the player can draw new cards from the deck after the initial cards have been dealt. The number of cards the player can draw, how many draws is allowed in the game, and the draw’s timing varies from variation to variation. For example, in standard draw poker the player can draw 1 time up to 5 cards after the first betting.

Not like in Stud poker the player has the chance to discards cards that does not help him to get a better poker hand. As any poker game, the betting element is an important part of the game and it takes a place in differences stages of the game. In basic Draw games there are at least 2 rounds of betting, usually one before the first draw and one between draws. Five-Card Draw is the most popular draw poker game but it can also be played with seven cards.
